Why does Birmingham away 20:58 - Nov 4 with 2000 views | FromReuserWithLove | always feel so bleak? Like playing away in some Eastern European backwater in the UEFA Conference. Probably just me but it always has that atmosphere to me. Glad we didn't let them have the win.

We got the train to Moor Street and were going to walk to the ground. 30 minutes walk is easy for us. But Mr Bluebell said he wouldn’t want me walking through those streets so we crammed onto a train to Bordesley. Not pleasant but probably better than walking.

I’m always interested in peoples take on Birmingham City. I’ve only been once and that was an age ago.it was everything you describe then and hasn’t improved much by the sound of it. The irony is that Villa Park, Hawthorns and Molyneux are good grounds and Birmingham itself (the centre bit) has improved beyond recognition over the years. St Andrews - the place that time forgot!
