Film recommendation: Rye Lane 09:32 - Nov 19 with 1264 views

Went out and saw this last night, a rom-com but filled with fine observation of Brixton and the South Bank. I forgot the cares of the World and a couple of intractable personal problems for an hour and a half. Anyone else seen it and what did you think if you have done ?

Seen some of it, before Mrs Pendejo decided she wasn't into it and haven't got around to finishing it.

There's a restaurant scene that I recall tickled me.

Should add that Rye Lane is Peckham, my nearest "town centre", so like "Blue Story" has some geographical interest.

Yes me and Unstable Junior really enjoyed it

I thought it started poorly as wasn't sure, and then it got into a great rhythm and the characters were great.

Need more UK films like that

Cheers for the rec, will watch that. Not normally a rom-com fan but will make an exception for a good one.
Palm Springs and the Big Sick are both worth a watch too
