If this gets any traction, please, please, please will everybody take note that there's a right way and a wrong way to bung a boll roll onto the pitch:

An overarm throw - the tail must be pointing back on top of the roll (or forward underneath) because you'll naturally apply backspin when you release the roll.

If you do it right it unfurls delightfully, as in the video above. If you do it wrong it does not unfurl at all and you make the whole club look a c***.
