Dee C. Lee has a double A-Side released on Acid Jazz

First one could fit on a SC album

The second, a cover of a mid 70's Renee Geyer track

Nice one.
Cheers for posting those.
I hear the SC influence but think I preferred the bside.
I'm a sucker for some funky flute.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

This is my favourite DC Lee track.

Love this.

They've had a rebirth of late. People actually listening rather that being peed off that he'd split The Jam. The songs carry as powerful a message of anything 77-82. The Cost of loving is great. Nice sweaters 83-86 too!

I caught them at Gaumont in 84', and Albert hall in, I think, 86, poss 87'. Like a lot of fans of our age though we were 'settling down' (for a short spell), kids, mortgages etc, so missed the final couple of years really.

She's only gone and done it again. This time a co write with Mick Talbot.

Keeping the flame of the Style Council alive. Come on Weller, get a full reunion going.

Mega TSC vibes there.
I like it.
You've inspired me.
Now off to dig out Cafe Bleu for a spin.
(Vinyl of course)
