Wes and Omari 13:39 - Feb 26 with 994 viewsbluelagos

Given that they both seem to be on top of their game, can we shoehorn them both into the side?

Mick Mills on Saturday was suggesting Omari wouldn't be effective on the other wing which leaves Omari through the middle, but that's at the expense of Chappers.

Frustrating (and nice) to have them both firing in all barrels at the moment. Thoughts?

Not sure we'll have that particular dilemma for a few weeks now. Omari did well on the left at Saints as I recall so that's surely still an option if needed, but I think in general it's fantastic that – when all are fit – we can rotate some really good options in key positions as we have in recent weeks.

Is Wes' injury more than a twinge?

Got to remember the importance of whoever comes on for the last 20-30 minutes having an impact. Under McKenna, the subs play such an important role. I still generally tend to favour Burns stretching them for 60 minutes and Hutchinson coming on to terrorise tiring defences.

Another great Jan window has really given us depth and options. Fingers crossed Broady and Burns aren’t too seriously hurt and out for too long but feels we have a squad that can cope now. And Taylor to come back and maybe B Williams too.

KM said it looked like a strain, which would normally mean a couple of weeks minimum I'd expect, but I guess we'll find out in a few days.
