I haven't bought new tyres in Ipswich for such a long time (low mileage, not running bad tyres) - and now all the places in Ipswich seem to push booking appointments.

Q!: Can you still drive in without an appointment and get seen to relatively quickly these days?

Q2: Any recommendations for places?

Most you need to book nowadays,Fastfit norwich road are very reasonable price wise and one of the very few that you can drive in without an appointment

Last few times I've bought tyres I've used ASDA tyres online to book an appointment at a nearby garage, I've been pretty impressed with that.

Doesn't help your request though, but might be worth considering in the future.

You can get tyres through Blackcircles.com. They are competitive price wise. They deliver to various garages and you are emailed when they are delivered to fix the time you want them fitted. I live in Needham Market and mine were delivered to Hadleigh tyres on a local Industrial estate.

I just drive into Hadleigh Tyres on Woodbridge Rd and they do them there and then.

On a couple of occasions they have advised that they don't need replacing yet so they are trustworthy IMHO.
