In terms of 'artistic' impression, it would've been better had the player pile on happened behind the goal rather than to the side.

Crap angle of it, there's a much better one somewhere.

See what you mean. I didn't even click on it until I saw your post. I assumed it would be the 'TV angle'.

It’s going to take something quite special to usurp that as my favourite PR memory ever (I’d go as far as saying better than the final whistle against Huddersfield which felt less spontaneous).

Second place could easily be Morsy equaliser 93rd minute at home to Leicester. There were limbs falling into my row from all over the place!

Yes from the Saints vlogge. Griffin’s angle is understandably crap

The prolonged noise after Sarmiento's goal is something I have never heard at PR before.

Add Hull and Cov goals in there as well, as well as Cov full time.

We could have our own competition and beat everyone else.

Another underrated moment from the Southampton game: for saints first goal, on the replay from the EFL highlights there is a very loud and angry cry of “Lino, Lino you’re a c***”. Love some indignant rage from the Norrh for an opposition goal that never really looked offside!

When I clicked that link, the yellow markers on the progress bar are still visible from where I skipped to Jezza's winner!

Wasn't at Southampton game sadly, though Bristol City at home a few games prior must have been pretty close.

I have to go back to Andos equaliser in the playoff V Nodge, and the 3-2 comeback Vs Sheffield Utd under Joe Royle, for anything in the same league.

Where I was people around me were shouting ‘offside’ and abusing the officials yet we had the worst view in the ground. People in Brentwood could see it better than us.

Well the abuse continued (I joined in - since when was a football fan fair?) then the bloke behind said his son had texted from home saying it was onside. Somebody else said their phone showed it onside and the furore gradually abated. But the Lino still got stick. Dead funny.

Of Sarmiento’s goal, watching Chaplin race across the pitch like Usain Bolt is just brilliant.

From behind the goal there was at least a question but Leif looking sheepish was fairly telling.

One thing I had missed was the volume of the reaction to Bree fouling Leif; in case the ref was in any doubt (and I don't think he was) that might have swayed the decision to send him off.

That goal is right up there with Thompson at Southend or Kiwomya versus Newcastle.
