If we land Delap, BillyJean, & Greavsie 14:04 - Jul 9 with 1408 viewsVic

how much do you think we've got left in the bank?

That'll be £75m so far and we still need a keeper and a CM as a minimum

Reckon Ashton keeps logging into the ITFC banking app on his phone, looking at the balance, thinking ‘could go get another couple’

Don’t forget the Hutch deal will be in the accounts for the previous season, so that fee shouldn’t really be mentioned in the same bracket

Maybe MA is using Quidco for the deals so getting a decent cash back on them.

Minus £45M according to a few at the start of the summer

Teams to have spent north of £100M in transfer fees are Leeds, Villa, Wolves and Forest from memory. It's a small list and I think Villa required some jiggery-pokery with their stadium in order to 'afford' £130M of spending, while Forest went considerably north in every regard and were docked points. All four survived their first season, something Gamechanger scholars may well have noted. I'd be very surprised if we clear £110M even so, and even with 5-year contacts spreading the PSR outlay.

Transfer fees are written off / spread across contact length these days (in the books at least, accounting term 'amortisation'), so Omari's signature landing in 23/24 doesn't reduce our 24/25 outlay.
