Enjoyed watching. The only complaint I've really got on the BBC coverage is the ridiculous repeated bigging up of our competitors, often as though it was a forgone conclusion and all they needed to to was turn up, especially by Clare Balding.

That and the insufferable Matt Baker constantly fan girling over Simone Biles.

...totally over the top.

I began to feel sorry for her competitors that got totally overlooked.

I enjoyed watching her fall off the beam and then get caught blaming the crowd for being too quiet. They barely mentioned that.

That ans the endless empathy and there didn’t seem to be a single medalist who hadn’t been on a ‘journey’ that they had to drone on about, usually at the expense of missing an event just because there was no Brit in it.
The only other thing is the marathon. The men’s should be the last event and it should finish in the stadium. The roar from the crowd when the first runner appears used to be one of the highlights of the games.
