Got a ticket for Fulham but I'd logged in on 4 different devices, 2 laptops & 2 mobiles

Queued at 645 , 1282, 2823 & 3857 took 10 mins for the first to get to the front of the queue.

Queue placement does indeed seem to be random, although both the mobiles were higher up the queue.

So dirty that you came on here to tell us all about it...

Although not exactly the same as jumping the queue, this is equivalent to that in terms of the obvious unfairness to people who are doing the right thing by logging in on one device only.

Surprised you posted this when lots of people reading the forum will have tried to get tickets this morning and been disappointed not to be able to.

(Not sour grapes, as I was lucky and got a ticket).

Not sure it is quite as reprehensible as you make out, but no surprise some moral-high-grounders replied.

I wanted to confirm queueing was done based on device rather than customer ID - probably a loophole that will get closed shortly.

If people don't try on multiple devices then more fool them, this has been the way to get tickets for all sorts of events for many years now. Doubt the loophole will be close anytime soon.

I always get my UK NFL tickets this way, had 5 devices this year and one queue was 3000 and another queue 250,000 as it's randomly assigned at on sale time

Not sure why anyone would have an issue with this,

The only unfair nature would be caused by:

1. Being able to buy more than your allocated fair share of tickets as a result (which isn't [possible as sales are done with customer ID allowance presumably)

or

2. Giving an unfair advantage with regards to your queue position - but if this was the case that is down to an IT issue with the clubs infrastructure.

If anything it's a useful bit of info for people that your observation is that mobile devices place higher than desktop.

Being in the queue 1 time or 1000 times you weren't going to get additional tickets so where's the issue? Other than IT issues outside the OPs control

Nothing a couple of signings can't fix anyway to sort the mood!

I think it's good people are advertising this tbh. If you are trying to buy Town tickets with one device on one internet browser, your chance of being lucky Monday morning is so much lower than heavyweight and others. If you only have one device or aren't sure how it works, see if friends or family may lend a hand next time to give you a fighting chance. Until the club improves its software to prevent multi-queuing from one membership account, it would be a shame if the tech-savvy or tech-rich continually squeeze out other members.
