Isn't it about time passengers got the service that they pay over the odds for. Every year already over inflated fares for travelling by train go up by even more. Have been lead to believe train drivers on £60,000 a year, when junior doctors on just over £14 a hour when the minimum wage is £11.44 an hour. Very soon I travel to Southampton, for myself and wife it cost £336 return. Had to laugh, heard a joke recently where a comedian said "Instead of your regular train there's a replacement bus service." Hardly the fault of the train drivers that, like the water companies, privatised rail companies have taken huge profits and bonuses out of the system while not maintaining the infrastructure or offering a good service. Take a train in France or Germany to see how royally we are ripped off in the UK.
