Fitting first goal in the prem would be... 10:05 - Aug 17 with 1009 viewsRIPbobby

The Connor Chaplin corner routine. Hard to defend against even if you know it's coming.

Highly unlikely but, for me, it would be Woolfenden. An academy product scored our last goal in the top division, and an academy product scores the first of the new spell.

I'd settle for Sam Morsy smashing home from just outside the box following a scrambled clearance of that Connor Chaplin corner routine.

Would be very fitting, would give Chappers a good confidence boost as i think he may struggle this year, so this would massively help!
Likewise would be great to see Delap get his first goal to help with his confidence, still very young to leading the line in the Prem

The bullet header from 9 yards out, near post, when Chappers just uses his height and doesn't have to jump, after the CBs have dragged all of the markers out of the way?

I'm liking that.

We'll get away with it once all season in the Prem before these high and mighty teams realise how good we are, so it might as well be today.

They said on Sky last night that one thing VAR is going to be watching closely this season is pushing and pulling from set pieces.
