I don’t see Hutchinson on the right. He’s so vital to us in his current position and we would compromise that so much if he moved out to the right. I think he’s nailed on #10 and it’s one of Clarke or Szmodics left and 1 of Burns / Ogbene right, with those both switching during the game. Broadhead or Chaplin probably then back Omari up but when he’s fit he starts 10 for me. Delap / Hirst #9. That’s the attacking unit sorted IMO. |
I did think that, but I'm not so sure now.
For me, Hutchinson had quite a poor game against Brighton, tried a lot of fancy tricks and taking players on but nothing seemed to come off for him, and he gave away possession a lot which put us under pressure defensively.
Difficult one. Szmodics is probably better as a #10 than on the left also. Something about Clarke too, he looked a real player when he came on, like the ball was superglued to his foot and very difficult to tackle.
I'd quite like to see us start with Clarke left, Szmodics #10 and Hutchinson right for a game or two. Reckon they could be a right handful together. You're probably right though. |  |
