For a 0-0 I think we got quite a bit of coverage on MOTD last night.
Highlights showed Delap hit the post and Hutchinson's chance. They were quite complimentary about us as well considering we were under the cosh for most of the game.
Only negative was Murphy saying us and Southampton were going to struggle for goals. |  | | |

Only 2 games yesturday had the winning side with more than 2 goals...

Well, they have a point, just 2 goals in 4 games is hardly mid or top-of-the-table form.
But, none of the teams we've played should be bottom 6 come the end of season (barring a 50+ point deduction for Citeh), so not too worried yet |  |

I'm optimistic that when we play weaker opposition and our attacking players have more time to bed in and gel together then we will score more goals.

Vardy goal for leicester yesturday, prime example of how you assist a goal like that, a nice chipped ball over the defender to allow your team mate to run onto it, i felt like we tried to hard to hit the perfect through ball. | |

I mentioned in another thread last night, our link up play isn't quite there yet, and too much breaks down in the final third. We improved on this significantly when Hirst came on yesterday though.
This will click fairly soon though, I'm sure, as the attacking patterns are worked on in training. We'll soon be seeing the new equivalent of the telepathic cut back to Chaplin on the penalty spot. |  |
