Mainland-Niles? I had no idea he was still playing. In France, having looked it up. I seem to remember him being uninterested and ineffectual with a poor attitude for Southampton when they were relegated. Got rid of last year by Arsenal on a free transfer. I take it you are suggesting him and Lacazette because Lyon are in financial trouble?

Yeah they're in financial trouble and have to raise funds or they'll be demoted to Ligue 2. Maybe Maitland-Niles isn't right but was trying to find someone who has Prem experience and can slot into a number of roles without necessarily expecting to usurp our current first-teamers (like Axel)
