A weekend for the away teams in the Premier league 23:51 - Dec 22 with 1087 views | Dubtractor | Villa were the only home team to win, with a total of 7 home goals and 25 away goals in 10 games. Not sure that there is anything to be taken from that, other than it just being an odd weekend for results.

I think results like Palace - Arsenal show that even much better teams than us will get dicked in this league. Saturday for me is still less of an issue that failing to see out Leicester and Bournemouth at home.

Agree with that. Those are the games that will define things a lot more than Saturday. However, with Spurs conceding 6 at home yesterday, we’ve not done that all season to this point, when some would’ve expected us to have done as the ‘newly promoted whipping boys’

On that note, I was completely calm during/after the game on Saturday, compared to how pissed off I was after Leicester and Bournemouth. Saturday was a complete non event, we were outclassed from start to finish, and so you you wish for the end and damage limitation.

I was much the same, game was gone by HT so there was zero to get much riled about in the second half. We were always likely to get spanked by someone. We seem to have competed well against the 'big boys' so far - other than Man City - and we have picked up points in the games against fellow relegation candidates Wolves, Leicester & Southampton. However, against the 'making up the numbers' teams we have been poor, losing almost every game and shipping some amount of goals.
