Magnificent 22:05 - Dec 30 with 703 views | Steve_M | In a year with many superb results that one might just be the best one yet. Given how much we were outclassed only nine days ago the resilience this team has is impressive. Every player did well, we had a little bit of luck at times but we were so much better at getting the ball out from defence tonight than on Friday. The second goal epitomised that. I enjoyed the Chelsea meltdown from about 70 minutes nearly at much as how we played. Aside from the points, that should give us the confidence to go into the second half of the season with a good chance of staying up. We need reinforcements but wet needed a home win more. Magnificent home support, really grew as the game went on. Not sure I can speak now but we’ll need more of that too. COYFB

Magnificent on 22:23 - Dec 30 with 524 views | Mullet | I thought we learnt a lot from Arsenal, not just what it takes tactically but also the belief element. The 3xCBs and Cajuste were superb at working off one another to hold a line (it was Morsy apparently for their goal VAR so the commentator reckoned that was the issue) but also to limit them to pot shots and get bodies in the way. As soon as we defended something we looked to move it away again, or kick it long if needs be. Delap will have put himself in the shop window tonight. Stars in Their Eyes Pep talking him up and the treatment Omari got at Arsenal seemed to fire both up. What we had across the XI was a sense of belief and belligerence that Chelsea were turning up thinking they'd beaten us, it felt like. The fact Wolves seemed to be handed so much lately, only helps to show us scrapping harder I think. You could see it from the bench too in how they approached the game and how Chelsea cheating and moaning wasn't going unchecked by anyone. That was a big difference to earlier in the season where we were perhaps a little greener.
