There was a thread on here a short while back and it was determined that the buy back was not a fixed price but an agreement they could match the highest offer.

I'm having a "discussion" with a mate who thinks they can buy him back for £20m.

Can someone confirm this is not the case?

Someone cabt remember who, but who normally seems ITK, said it was a matching clause rather than buy back.

If City do have a proper buy back clause I'd be surprised if its less than 2.5x the purchase price.
