Some similarities to the Guardian article. Amazing that we have a young player getting so much positive coverage.

What encourages me the most about these appreciation posts is the constant mention about his physicality, when actually I think the best we see of him is his technical ability. It took me a good couple of months to work out his stronger foot, there were the constant maradonna turns, stepovers with weak foot goals and that’s before we start to talk about the dribbling, pace and shot power

It's the ability and confidence to turn and face goal straight away, and because he is two footed defenders don't know which way to show him, so they get squared up quite easily.

Imagine we won't have him for long, but like when McKenna eventually moves on, it'll be exciting to see what he can achieve at a higher level than us.

Poll: Pick a goal to win the derby in stoppage time...

His control does need to improve, there are a number of times in each game where he loses control of the ball when running or gives a silly foul away. It’s all part of his development.

I’m a big fan of his, but he is a still learning and is great to watch though with his current blunt approach.

Why go round defenders when you can go through or over. Feels a bit Jonah Lomu at times.
