On a sort of related note I'm always they don't keep more of the bars open after the game, let people have a beer or whatever whilst the traffic clears.

Ashton has been asked this before… we’re a Town Centre football club and opening bars afterwards would likely take trade away from the pubs, don’t want to upset them.

Sitters there are some lovely bars in Westfield where you can pay £9.50 for a flat Peroni.
That said, weirdly I did find some craft beer joint in there, which looked like it used to be an American Apparel store, after the game there, which was quite good. |  | | |
