Macauley Bonne scored one of Southend's goals at Dagenham. They also won 2–0.

A pretty good day for the Essex teams as Colchester won against Morecambe in L2, although Chelmsford lost at Eastbourne in the Conference South.

Wiki says he joined Braintree today having been released from Woking. I guess they are allowed to register and play him on the same day at that level.

Must have been.

Unless the reporter jumped the gun reporting it before realising it had been disallowed on the pitch.

I wonder how long until there is VAR at that level.
