We failed to win again and are 6 behind as it stands, this is beyond clutching at straws and rather embarrassing tbh.

Plus of course an hour still to go.

And what about them drawing (41 mins)?

I’m aware of all that.

I'll go the other way and say tonight could be the night that's it's all but done although I firmly believe it is already.

Think it was done when we lost to Southampton, to be honest.

I'd go as far as to say realistically it was always going to be tough but in reality much much tougher than I expected. After about 8 games we were talking about must wins and people thinking that was mad but looking back on it they were.

Honestly can't wait for the season to be done, fed up with having my hopes dashed week after a week of actually winning a game even if I have accepted relegation and embrace the championship again.

No VAR, Tuesday/Saturday football away games you can't get tickets for on TV, bring it on.

I thought we'd do better than we have points wise and we almost certainly should have. After the Spurs game - which for no good reason I felt we were going to win - I thought I had the measure of the season. It would be tough but we'd eke out enough to finish safe and then have a good base to build from next year. Now I feel we almost start again. We'll lose some / most better performers, sign some decent Championship players. Have a good chance of coming up again in the next year or two, but the championship is full of nearly-good-enough teams so that'll probably be tougher than we think. Like after last time we dropped down from the Premiership. I can't say I'm embracing the Championship again. It's a quagmire.
