Poll: If ITFC were to be relegated, would McKenna be poached to manage in the Prem?

My dad met him some years ago and said what nice, down to earth bloke he is. Anyway, a little bit of reminiscing for those who were there or remember ‘Osborne. One Nil’ as it happened.

Texters. Honestly mate. Why do you feel the need to turn every post into a negative attack on the club.
I have no idea about the circumstances of Roger being "turned away" or not.
It may be because a member of staff didn't recognise him. I don't suppose every one of the dozens if not hundreds of people who work for the club know every detail, even if it is an FA cup winner.
I just can't believe a situation where Roger turns up and is told to do one.
The endless negativity is just draining mate.
This is a positive post about a cherished ex player. Couldn't you just wish him well on his birthday too?

Who turned him away? Why? When? Main entrance? Gateman or was it Ashton with a kung foo kick?

The club has been good about looking after old players so I’m interested to know what happened.

What is the insinuation in your post is if isn't to offer a negative insight into what is a positive post about a club legend?
I just don't see what it adds.
There are numerous others posts where you can, and have, given us the benefit of your opinion on KM, MA, most of our players etc. No problems with that. It's a message board.
It just seems a strange thing to want to post in a celebratory thread about a club legend.

An alternative view is that a story about Roger Osborne would look pretty odd on those other posts, compared to Roger Osborne posts.

It's not the negativity on here that's the issue, it's how triggering it is for some. Easy enough to walk on by...

I think I'll take your advice.

Saw him sitting alone in the Thomas Wolsey after our final match last season (or was it the season before....?) I was just about to offer to buy him a pint when all his pals returned to the table with the celebratory promotion drinks.
Cool story, huh?
