Went to see Sam Amidon last night in the beautiful setting of an old ex-chapel... and it was amazing. A bizarre mix of beautiful and bonkers, but it really worked, with him playing guitar, uke, violin and singing, with a jazz drummer (literally called Jazz as well) and a guy on a pounding double bass holding it all together.
He was on Jools Holland recently, although this is one of the more 'normal/tamer' tracks. Goes off on one after 2 mins, but again not one of the experiemental ones as some of the stuff we saw last night.
Trust the process. Trust Phil.
