Those of a certain age will remember when TV Series Dallas pretty much binned an entire season (Season 9) by pretending it was a dream, and Bobby Ewing stepped out the the shower in Season 10 and the series basically reset itself.

I wonder if I have a quick shower, this season will turn out to have just been a dream, and we are preparing for the opener against Liverpool.
