Impossible for any coach to rescue a team that’s endured a couple of months of Wayne Rooney in charge.
The guy nearly pulled it off though and deserves the chance to work under some semi-sensible ownership.

Shame for Argyle, I reckon he would have got them back up next season, I think when he took over from Rooney Argyle were 10th or 11th in form.

However when a sleeping giant like Schalke come knocking it is a no brainer for him.
