It doesn't explicitly state that our relationship with the horrific 8Xbet - a stain on the club in my view - is part of this story, but it seems to be the case. I hope at least it doesn't impact us financially. We should take it as a warning not to get in bed with unethical organisations.

They were a minor sponsor and i'd imagine they paid for last season as they were promoted for the entire season. It's likely they won't pay any further money due. No idea if it was a deal which ran just while we were in the Prem but doubt it will make much difference to us. |  |

There have been a few cases of these dodgy offshore and/or web-only gambling “companies” going to the dogs and not honouring sponsorship deals. I say “companies” in quotation marks as some of them aren’t - they’re just branding for some parent company that’s not always easy to identify (especially Asian markets).
I don’t know why clubs chase them. They wouldn’t take this approach with suppliers for everything they need in the ground on match days. |  |

How minor is an official club partner? They should have been erased from the club website a long time ago. |  |
