In England he was traditionally a CF but he’s played out wide for Ajax quite a bit in a wide 10 position similar to Broadhead.

Loads of experience and I suspect we see chappers go before the window finishes. I think akpom is a decent player who adds loads of experience. He can play up top and in the 10 so offers more than being a super sub right now | |

….Im not “against” it as a signing, I just think it smacks of a last minute panic to fill a gap.
This window just seems a bit disorganised and “slap dash” when we should really have been in a position of cool, calm power.
I’ll welcome him with my muscular open arms but quietly wish we had a proper CF and CM in the door.

£7m isn't that much any more, particularly for a well-financed club with a season of Prem earnings and parachute payments to spend. |  |
