Then the two other games, I don't see how they stifled us, brum had more shots and more possession, southampton a bit different but were organised as an away team, yet we hit the post and hirst missed one and chappers missed one, so could have been a win by 2/3 goals.

There's a difference between poor finishing in a game, and not having any players that can finish. We clearly have many players who are proven finishers, particularly at this level, but who are currently lacking sharpness and maybe a little confidence.

I think having a watertight defence will be the difference between automatic and play-offs. If you look at the table last year, Leeds aside, there's not a huge disparity between the top 15 teams in terms of goals scored. The big differences were with goals conceded. | | | |
