From the Suffolk Plod FB Page Seems an arrest was made for "throwing flares" yesterday. --------------- Officers have thanked fans after the derby match between Ipswich Town and Norwich City at Portman Road, Ipswich on Sunday. Chief Inspector Matthew Breeze said: “The vast majority of those attending behaved responsibly and enjoyed the day in good spirits. There was some minor, isolated poor behaviour from a very small number of individuals, which were either resolved naturally or required only basic police intervention." Five arrests were made for offences including: • Theft • A racially aggravated public order offence • Throwing flares Ch Insp Breeze added: “We are grateful to the thousands of supporters who enjoyed the day, whether in the ground or around the town, and to all the officers and staff from our partner agencies who helped deliver a safe and effective policing operation.” |  |
