That's the correct way of doing things, but I'm fairly sure that the modern way is to get the manager on-side first, and then look to do a deal with the club.
If anything is happening, they'll most likely be sounding out KMc and/or his agent in the background, to see if they can work out an agreeable package before approaching ITFC. | |

McKenna uses his people, to get around contract obligations, and this is part of that process. Clearly McKennas people using the media to build pressure on us, and try reduce the comp.
