I know it's not necessarily either or and fingers crossed we get the right candidate very quickly...
But would we rather have one of the uninspiring choices in now and in with his coaches, and choosing his players and knowing the squad, or have it drag on through the summer and wait it out for someone 'better' but with much less time to sort out the staff and team and get unprepared players in.

I mean Anthony Barry fits the latter part. Great coaching connections, plenty of experience all over Europe but you would have to wait for the World Cup to end and I just cant see that happening.

No one specific but I imagine there is a bit of a merry go round around the world Cup and knock on down the line with other big teams still to pick managers.
There is time, definitely, but we always moan about players not having a pre season and it's doubly hard if the manager has only just walked in for the start of ore season. | | | |

Transfer window opens soon. We will need to do quite a lot of business, 5 or 6 decent signings I would guess. For that to happen successfully I guess Ashton would need someone in place pretty quickly. Probably already spoken to quite a few available. If Frank will have his mind changed, then he would be my first choice. |  |
