France get away with all sorts that Iraq are not. And could easily have had two yellows for simulation. Felt the same when Iran played.

I've felt the refereeing and VAR usage especially has been much better than the PL. No nonsense and no pi55ing about at corners. Not afraid to not overturn VAR decisions.

Totally agree. The refs are strict and take no nonsense at the WC. The English refs could learn a thing or two.
Do we even have a ref at this years WC 🤷🏻‍♂️

So much better than watching the PL from this respect.

Argentina got away with a lot though, be interesting to see if refs are brave enough to maintain the no nonsense approach when the pressure starts mounting.
