Yes and it was fine, effectively just walked down one road all the way from the away end, took about 25/30 mins maybe but didn’t feel that long.

Yes - very easy. I walked back to near Piccadilly from Coop Live (beside Etihad) yesterday evening.

About 25 mins - see paste below

The Citylink Walking Route

• Path: Connects Manchester Piccadilly Station and the city centre through Ancoats, New Islington, and Holt Town.
• Features: The route is well-lit, step-free, signposted, and features interactive lighting, QR codes for digital campaigns, and occasional live local entertainment on matchdays.

Enjoyable walk and nice to see the old industrial buildings by the canal.

Cheers? Did it feel safe? I started to walk back into the city from Anfield last year and felt like I was an extra on Top Boy!!

Yes Matt it's safe after a match. You'll be walking with lots of others from the crowd, home and away. You'll have no problem from the City fans these days. I've done it many times and never felt un safe.

Yep very safe. Thousands of people all walking on closed roads as the trams back have huge queues. As long as you don’t go looking for trouble it will be totally fine. Plus is should be dry for once in Manchester.
