I have no time for the way renters are treated by certain types of landlords and property management firms that's true. I'm a firm believer that property (houses) renting in this country should be run solely by councils and housing associations. | | | |

When I was approached to sell my business some years ago by a main competitor , I managed to sell it at the right time for an extortionate amount of money. Rather than sit back and live like a pimp I decided to invest some in property (again a great decision at the time)Buying up run down homes and converting them back into liveable homes and renting them back to the council and housing associations for people who really need them, rather than going down the private sector route (for which I could've got a better yield and more hassle at the same time)...Again a great decision,they mange the properties for me,do all the repairs, work with tenants and the rent is always paid on time.
