We need a progressive manager that we can afford. Here are my thoughts. 14:34 - Oct 25 with 3542 viewsMaySixth

Mick has done a very good job but he is not the future.

1. Michael Appleton
2. Danny Cowley
3. Nathan Jones
4. Paul Cook
5. Markus Anfang

Are we having some kind of competition where we make a list consisting of some already known names and then one obscure clearly foreign one which the rest of us have to spot as being either real or made up?

It's a bit like Football Manager Unbelievable Truth.

I'm going for
The bloke from Bristol Rovers
Gareth Ainsworth
Bloke from Shrewsbury
Jorge Almirón

Shefki Kuqi.

Even if he's rubbish at least he can do his celebration if we score.

But we we loved Mick when we did play off hoofing, now we do mid table hoofing we hate him.

So depends how good at hoofing we are under Danny.

The only Muff in Town.

Appleton is staying at Leicester.
Cowley isn’t for me. As someone pointed out, he’s very long ball.
And Paul Cook, like Cowley, just seems to be liked because he knocked us out of the cup.
The Bristol Rovers guy has done well. He could be an Eddie Howe or he could be a Karl Robinson.
I quite like the idea of a Dutch manager but most Dutch managers have failed over here, certainly at the top level.
But at least it would bring fresh ideas and possibly a few gems from the Continent.
Given Evans’ track record, it will be Harry Redknapp...

Fair enough, it was just a joke.

Given you know your football, what do you think of Jorge Almiron? I want a bit of South American grit combined with flair. Like Taricco but with experience of managing.
