Getting rid of furniture 12:22 - Mar 7 with 938 viewswkj

My ol' mum is looking to get rid of some of her furniture as she's downsizing her abode, unfortunately I'm not going to be able to be there to help in person.

I realise there are recycle companies for furniture that resell, her stuff is badly abused from cat claws, it would be barely good for a lad pad in a garage- Are there any local services to Ipswich/Woodbridge that will take the stuff to the dump, if so, how much, do they remove the furniture from the property and are there any recommendations

The borough council will collect it and probably cheaper than anyone else.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

If she is computer literate it would be worth putting it on Freeview.

I put a TV on there recently as it was so big and heavy I couldn't bring myself top taking it to the dump and someone came and collected it within a day or so.

Obviously if you can get the council to do it for free then that's a no brainer.

So you don't need to be computer literate to post on there then?
