I think that if Collins stays fit Gerken and/or Bart will be different keepers to what they were first half of the season.
It is amazing the difference a decent defence in front of them will make.
More important, in my book, to get a player like CCV in for the risk of if Collins breaks down. That would potentially give us the extra loanee headache but will Chalobah and Pennington both be involved if we have Judge and were to get CCV?
The idea we could sign permanently a keeper who is a definite step up on the two we have is not one I can see many (or indeed any) candidates for. |  |
