Not really being negative it's just a fact, we're a selling club and he's class and should be playing at a higher level.
As for turning profits we ended up in the third division as a result of being a non-competitive selling club in essence, so not sure I give a toss about the profit considering we've lost so much money anyway it's almost trivial. I care about us winning games and being competitive and theres not been an instance in the last decade where selling key players has worked out for us as evidenced by our relegation to the third division. It's a false economy. | | | |

Indeed. It is about then having a manager that makes good use of the funds generated and builds a team. Unfortunately, those that have generally spent the funds have either invested poorly or been too cautious in their footballing approach.
Here is hoping Lambert invests wisely and has a more entertaining and adventurous approach. I feel like we might be at the start of a fun little ride. Who knows how far it may take us? | |

Can we slow down he's played a dozen games in League One after being signed from Colchester. A good season in the Championship and people may come and have a look but I think we are safe this season at least. |  | | |

Possibly so, I still think we need to look long and hard at a striker if we go up, I like what Norwood brings to the team, but I am not convinced he has the tools to give what we need in the league above. I also have a feeling we're getting much more out of the younger players now than we did before, maybe because we're playing at a level where it isn't as much of a risk as was when we were trying to snip at the playoffs.

I'm a middle-aged fella who's pretty ground down by the hassles of life, but I'd not heard Paul Worst before (or even thought of it) and it made me chuckle, so have an uppy. Far more imaginative than Tvvat Paul, as I normally call him (to distinguish him from Porno Paul). |  |
