3 games in a week 21:13 - Jan 20 with 1890 views | Nthsuffolkblue | All except for Norwood, Keane and Jackson have just played Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday with Judge and Huws getting 15-20 minutes less in a couple of them. Now have a week of rest from competitive action before another Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday; followed by the same again over the following fortnight. Should be able to keep consistent selection, availability allowing. I wonder if Sears, Bishop, Earl and Dozzell may feature a little, even if only off the bench.

Indeed. And they’ve got an easier week this week with no midweek game. And, obviously, with all the rotation this season nobody should be crying about being tired

Pedant … they only get 6 days rest rather than a week then, or technically 6 days and 22 hours (or slightly under depending on when the warm up starts and how much injury time there is.

They shouldn’t want to rest! They are footballers They can rest at the end of a season and have a bigger rest when they retire.

It is a fact that a week is 7 days not 8. 52 weeks and a day in a non leap year not 45 and 5 days. Nothing pedantic in saying that. Why playing a midweek game in between 2 bog standard Saturday games has become an issue these days is baffling. Just another excuse for modern pros when they don't perform. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
