Was once p1ssed on a daytime session in the Holbrook Swan with Ogle and his football team mates and there were some lads on the tarmac behind the beer garden skateboarding. I got dared to go over and "show 'em how it's done" and landed a Kickflip first try in the wrong shoes whilst 6-7 pints deep.
Punched a bouncer when I was 21 for making some rather derogatory comments to my then GF. Tried to run away after doing it and the other unit on the door speared me to the floor. I spent the next 20 minutes on the pavement with 3 massive door staff holding me in a painful hammerlock with knees and elbows full dug into me and the occasional subtle punch or having my head scraped againsT the tarmac. A whole crowd in the smoking area out front who witnessed it were shouting at them, calling them no end of names and demanding they ease up their restraint (anyone who knows what I look like would know it was overkill) and that the bouncer deserved it as he provoked me. Police arrived and let me go on the condition I go straight home, after 5-6 people spoke to the Police and said the bouncer was in the wrong, which he also knew he was and he never pressed charges.
Later found out he was a nasty piece of work with a real god complex, was known in the area for it and many of the pubs the door company contracted for had requested him not to work for them as he was a pr1ck who caused more trouble than prevented it. It also turned out he went to the same gym as all the door staff at my then-place of work who spent weeks ripping him for "getting punched by a midget" - apparently he was not happy.
Still makes me laugh to this day I did something so brave and out-of-character for me. [Post edited 28 Feb 2020 14:13]

I did win quite a lot of money playing blackjack at the Palm Beach casino. I also managed to walk (or stagger) out with my winnings, some of which I had lent to my equally drunk mate for him to pi$$ away. Fortunately, once he decided his debt to me was enough and he had no other sources of credit, we left. |  |
