Impressed with the way vulnerable are being served 13:05 - Apr 23 with 705 viewsPinewoodblue

Monday wife received NHS letter telling her she was in the vulnerable category. Following pressure from Spinal Injury Association they had added those whose spinal injury point was towards top end of spine as they are likely to have a compromised immunity system.

Tuesday instruction leaflet, from local authorities, through letter box, delivered by taxi driver who waited in driveway for several minutes before leaving.

Wednesday generic emails from Sainsbury’s and Tesco with regards to priority on home delivery

Thursday more specific instructions from Tesco, we have a weekly home delivery, giving specific instructions . Priority delivery any day but cannot book hourly spot but pick an 8 hour window. When she logs on it take her to a priority page.

Good to see national and local government, working together with the public sector to provide an efficient, much needed, service.

How is your wife? Shame about the cruises you had booked. Fingers crossed for them being on next year

Good to hear. The exact opposite of what occured in the first few weeks when every care home in the country found they could no longer book a delivery.

Things may have improved since, depending on your location... but I would wait until you have actually tried the sites before being too confident as many are still overwhelmed with demand.

And a bit short of certain produce.
