If the cars can get by fine with the wider pavement then that can become a cycle lane when this is all said and done :).

Canal was pretty busy this morning, too busy for me so I won't be going along it into central London again, heading the other direction towards the M25 was more pleasant last time.

Don't know if you've headed this way already but the stretch of canal / river from Homerton to Clapton and over to walthamstow marshes was heaving last Sunday - regret using it even.

Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

The other day I went from Springfield Park all the way along the canal to Enfield. Was pretty busy until Tottenham Marshes then basically empty the rest of the way which was more pleasant.

Isn't the bit you are talking about the one that goes down to the Crate brewery etc? It's very built up around there so likely to be rammed.

Yeah that's the one - narrow and packed - did wonder if I'd catch a dose it was that busy, but so far so good.

Springfield to Enfield?! Gawd your legs must be strong! I did Walthamstow to Islington and back last Sunday and fronts of my thighs are still smarting now!

This could easily be achieved by declassifying cycle lanes. Cyclists don't use them anyway.
