Got a new phone yesterday..... and blooming bluetooth won't work... 08:48 - Jul 13 with 583 views

it's continually spinning round and not finding any devices to connect to (such as the speaker in my spare room where I am working from home).

Any help for a technical simpleton please?

Make sure that you are putting devices that you are searching for into discoverable mode first...

Make sure that you are putting devices that you are searching for into discoverable mode first...

It's not picking anything up, never mind the device I want it to find..... just continually spinning around.

If it's brand new, it is likely to just be busted. Return it and get a replacement.

It's not picking anything up, never mind the device I want it to find..... just continually spinning around.

but that's the point - most modern devices don't broadcast, unless they're put into discoverable mode... bluetooth on my phone works perfectly, but I just put it into pairing mode, and it didn't find anything as none of my devices are currently discoverable.
