Wow. Pakistan have never lost with 195 on the board. England 199 with an over to spare. Pure brilliance from Bairstow, Morgan and Malan. What a run chase.
and Morgan used a bat made by my mate Paul Aldred.
In fact, three England players have his bats but with other sticker brands on them.
The one Morgan uses costs.....£200. Yep. Nothing flash. It's a 'Butterfly' grade.
If there are any cricketers out there, you'd be hard pressed (that's a cricket joke btw) to get a better bat. THey are all hand made in Derbyshire and the pros get exactly the same bats as us spanners.
Plug over.
I get nowt for supporting him. He won't sponsor me, and I have asked!
Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.
Was good to see live cricket live on 'normal' TV. Even better that the rain finally decided to stay away.
Pakistan are a talented outfit and I wouldn't bet against a series draw but England have amazing depth of quality in this form of the game.
Brilliant wasn't it, and for a novice like me who's never played so doesn't know all the fielding positions, a great learning experience provided by TV sound down & TMS volume on radio up. That could also apply to kids, and if the ECB wants to attract the next generation of players and spectators to the game, they should sit up and take note.
I'm normally an England supporter through and through, but I'm kinda hoping Pakistan win the next - I'd like them to get something for having come over here & provided us with such great entertainment under what I believe have been very trying conditions for them, enclosed as they have been in their bubble, not allowed out or to see family for over 2 months.
