Clough and Taylor Management teams 18:30 - Aug 30 with 1068 viewsskankerman

All managers need a good number 2
Clough Taylor as example

No Taylor no Clough ( performance dips)

No Culverhouse no Lambert ( as above)
No coincidence that since the split PL has struggled

There's definitely something in that.

Certainly Burley was much better when he had Dale with him. Would have been nice to have seen where it could have taken them if tragedy hadn't struck.

To be fair, Lambert has been a massive number two in his tenure here.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I've not got too much time for PL but this nonsense that Culverhouse is some sort of tactical genius is daft.

Ah now, you don't hold down a job like the manager's post at King's Lynn without having something about you.

Daft
Done well for KL
Whatever the Division one thing is sure promotion ain't daft
One thing for sure PL has done nothing in recent years at whatever level giving him a 5 year deal is indeed daft

Your last sentence is sadly true. But Culverhouse getting Kings Lynn promoted on the biggest budget in the division doesn't make him a tactical genius.

Horrible tw@ts seem to follow them too. Racist bellends.

We definitely had Clough at our side in summer 2018.

Unfortunately it was the Leeds 1974 version and there were two of them, with neither playing the Taylor role.
