Wouldn't be at all surprised to see one of the U21 teams win it this season due to the congestion of fixtures for the 'senior' teams. That would really make a mockery of the whole thing even more so than it already is!

If the 'big' teams can enter an U21 team for it then I don't see why we can't put forward an academy-only team. It would be useful as a practice match, nothing more.

this season. Just one of the two. Safety and viability are far more important.
