Virtual London Marathon?
I did that too... official app stopped tracking me at 14.5 miles.... my watch decided for stop tracking me after 13 miles... both calves were gone by mile 15... but finished and over £8000 raised for Versus Arthritis!

Brilliant effort - especially with the fundraising. Did you have anything data wise to be able to claim your bling/T-shirt?
My official app drained my phone battery and it died 5 minutes after we finished. I would not have been a happy bunny if it had conked out any earlier, as I didn't have my Garmin and didn't use Strava...for fear of draining the battery! | |

Fortunately I was running with a friend who was recording on Strava - we spent the last 10 miles constantly checking her watch to make sure it was tracking! She added me to her run and I submitted that.

Never occurred to me till the winner of the womens' elite mentioned it, that marathon runners could get *cold* while running She mentioned legs in particular getting freezing. | |
