Positional play and awareness is outstanding

Liked him as a signing and like him even more now. Brings our attack minded midfielders and wide men into the game. Won't score many, but will be influential in many.

He works really hard and seems to be neat and tidy when he is presented with a ball he actually can do something with

I suspect he'll be better with a partner next to him but he certainly does a handy job

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Absolutely. Need a new word for whatever role he's playing in the team, a sort of False 9/Target Man crossover.

I was thoroughly underwhelmed after his debut, but he's definitely growing into it well. It's waht we wanted from Keane but never got. Looks a good signing.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I think the false 9 / target man cross over is an excellent summary

He was brilliant last week. He won a lot of ball and held the ball well.

Today I thought we worked hard and was a Nuisance but had less impact with the ball.
