Wednesday forked out a £10m transfer fee for Rhodes, as part of the deal agreed when taking him on loan. 12 goals in 68 league games wasn't what the Owls had expected, especially as they were paying him £40k a week as well. Hence the loan deal to the Budgies. He's now 30 & in the last year of his contract. He will have cost Wednesday £18m in transfer fees & wages. |  |

Sheffield Wednesday back dated there sale into a period that had already been reported on, and sold to a company that weren't incorporated until the following year so there's was a lot dodgier!
